Getting into modelling shouldn’t be a hassle but many models don’t know where to start. They make the mistake of using poor photography. What you need is a photographer who’s experienced, creative and will give you a selection of images to use on a portfolio such as Purple Port.

The way people pick models is the same way as any other service. Assuming you fit the basic brief (e.g. male/female) the client will do the same review and research into the market. This could be a gym brand or applying for an agency.
